Plaza Azteca Mechanicsburg

recent visit to Plaza Azteca was a delightful experience. The restaurant offered not only delicious food but also a pleasant ambiance that added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The friendly service provided the perfect touch to our dining experience. It's definitely a place to visit if you're looking for good food, a nice atmosphere, and welcoming service.

I've never been a big fan of mexican food but this place is amazing! Once you're at your table there is no wait. They get your drink orders immediately then come back shortly after for your food order. They have a wide variety of menu items to chose from. They must have 50 cooks back there because your food comes out within about 10 minutes & is piping hot the way food should be. I went the 1st time on valentine's day & have already been back 3 times!

What an awesome new restaurant for our area! I am a huge fan of Mexican food so I had to check it out. Went here with some of my chicas tonight. I arrived at 5:45 to get a table and they told me it was a 15 minute wait. That was perfect because everyone else in my party was arriving at 6:00. The wait ended up being only 10 minutes surprisingly. I like that they text you when your table is ready. That way you can sit outside to wait. The food was really good and it arrived nice and hot. Prices are reasonable. We got a bunch of desserts to split between all of us and they were wonderful. Will definitely come back! Update: was here again this evening with family and a friend. Once again, the food was great! One note: my parents ordered chicken fajitas which they said were very good. However, the fajitas did not come with all the regular "fajita fixings" like you get at every other restaurant. They asked for some shredded cheese for their fajitas and they got it but they charged them $3.25 for it. Seems kind of cheap when everywhere else just gives that to you without even asking.

Some of the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. I’d go as far to say one of my top 10 restaurant experiences as well. First, the service was as quick as a slow fast food drive thru. We were seated, order taken, and food brought to us in a matter of 10 minutes. It was definitely prepared too, not just microwaved and thrown together. Our waitress was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. She was always a step ahead of us with fresh chips and refills before we even needed to ask. I am not knowledgeable of the Mexican cuisine, but the menu explained everything in great detail and was clear to read. Again the waitress helped us order and let us customize the food too. Speaking of the food, it was excellent, My beef enchilada was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The cheese one was phenomenal. Portions were moderately big and we took some home to enjoy later on. Prices were more than fair. I am definitely going back and plan to bring my coworkers with me. A fine establishment indeed.

Ambience and atmosphere was great. Guacamole was very flavorful. Chips were fresh and served warm. Chicken fajitas tasted good, and the chicken and the veggies were cooked to perfection. The flavor was a little different from what I had and other places but nice. The California vegetarian burrito was surprisingly tasty. French fries in the burrito enhanced it. Portion size was huge. Drinks were good too. I was happy to have a Coronarita after a long time. Try out their spicy margarita too. Waitress seemed to be new and did not have knowledge about the menu but was willing to help. Great service.
